Telchinia violae is from Nymphalidae family, one of the largest butterfly family.
It is a small butterfly with wingspan less than three centimetres.
Their caterpillars like plants of the Cucurbitaceae and Passifloraceae families.
They are not a fast flyer and this gave me the apportunity to snap quite a number of shots.
Due to insufficient light exposure i only managed to grab a few satisfying shots only.
Hope you all will like this. Thanks.

Hi Kean,
Wonderful shot with lovely colours and details. Great lighting and you have captured a fine pose from your chosen POV. I like the natural surrounding. Very nicely composed. Kudos.
TFS.

Hello Kean,
very nice close-up with nice colours and good POV.Well done.
Hi Kean, elegant butterfly with wonderful colors, splendid focus, very well done, ciao Silvio
Hello Kean Hoon,
This is a well perched butterfly in a well composed shot. Nice cropping giving the space ahead of it just in case it'll find the need to take off. Sharpness is good where it matters for positive ID. You have made a good attempt to eliminate the busyness of the background under a rather harsh lighting. The wind or the movement of the wings deterred the possibility of crystal sharpness but still a superb shot. Thanks for sharing.
Regards,
Jusni
