Raspberry Ice (Bougainvillea brasiliensis)
Family: Nyctaginaceae
Genus: Bougainvillea
Species: brasiliensis
Cultivar: Raspberry Ice
This is just a simple photo of the common bougainvilla flowers that are easily found everywhere in my country. I didnt know that it is called Raspberry Ice (wow...cool name, huh? hehe..) until i search about the details information about this flower. I like the Magenta or pinkish-purpleish colors of this flowers. The plant has spines or sharp edges.
This plant is attractive to bees, butterflies and birds.
Original photo, slightly cropped and adjusted curve and added borders.
