Size : Average 17 cm. If there was a signature bird of Fraser’s Hill this would be it as it comes in birdwaves and are very colourful. It makes repeated loud calls.

Habitat : Edge of broadleaved evergreen jungle, secondary growth and scrub, 500 to 2000m..
