It is a pity the DOF is a bit short, but getting this with 1/25 seconds and handheld means that you have very steady hands!
Interesting cluster, I like very much to see this little pearls from the jungle. Not many mushrooms friends in this places, or at least not many posts on TN, so thanks and regards, Felipe.

Hello Kean,

You have captured a lovely mushroom family. Very fine details. I like the low POV very much. I think you need more light in this photo. I like also the WS from Kirti M. But I think he use to much light. I´m agree with Extramundi that the DOF is a bit to short. But on the ontherside my compliments about the handheld shot. Natural colors. Thanks for sharing. Excellent composition ! Very nice exposure, super detail, good use of DOF to create a focal point of interest in the center tier of mushrooms. Wonderful POV. An altogether grand view of 'life in the undergrowth'.

Hello Kean,
I must say this is an excellent capture of this group of mushrooms.
The exposure is well managed and plenty of detail is clearly visible.
I'd love to know what they are,and learn more about luminescent fungi in general.
Great shot anyway!

Hi Kean,

A little bit too dark, but otherwise a great shot of this fungi family. I'm more than sure this is a tropical Mycena - there's quite a few species of that genus which glows in the dark, while not having an extraordinary outlook at daytime. It's a pity this kind of mushrooms doesn't live in Europe...
