Wonderful shot of this gorgeous looking Oriental Pied Hornbill nicely poised on that palm leaf. Vey impressive colours, sharpness, lighting and exposure. The blue sky acts as a fine BG. Excellent POV and very nicely composed. Kudos.

nice one! they are such an interesting looking bird! they would have caught my attention too.. i remember seeing similar looking birds back in Papua New Guinea. a welcome sight. nicely captured here in this shot, nice pose and nice composition with the palm like a horizon almost. well done and tfs

Yes some birds are hard to catch...I spend a big part of my day chasing them but have found that if I wait for them to come to me, if I have the time, then it works out much better....you did though a fine job here..and nice framing as well.

Wow, what a wonderful bird, I love this huge beak, lookes very strange to me ! :-) I like how he is posing on his palm brnch, he looks great up there. Nice details, beautiful composition and POV, and the sky makes a wonderful BG, as it allows the bird to stand out nicely. Very well done !
