[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hello friends in TN,

TN, TE and TL members (four of us) had a climb of the Jerai Mountain today, for some photo subjects and this one was captured along the way. A fly perched on a tiny fern.

This will be the last post for 2008 as I will be leaving for a journey. I will only be back in early 2009. I hope to be able to visit friends here for critiques every now and then. Thanks for such a wonderful year with so much support and constructive critiques in true spirit of TN.

Hi Jusni.
My best wishes to you for journey. It is so long however we will be next to your in mind. Cute subject and very attractive POV/framing of the scene. Fill flash is stong a bit but colours and details of the image are very good. Kind regards and all the best.

HI Jusni,

A very colorful little fly looking wonderful on the curve of the fern. Wonderful colors against the black background and an excellent composition. That is a long journey - have a safe and enjoyable trip.

hi Jusni

Flying away till 2009 is a good title and I am pretty sure you are in JOY mood now and you will have loads of photos upon return.

Very well presented fly, especially the bokeh and BG black to enhance the light on the arc of the green stem. The fly is obviously competing with the green for attention and I say both have score.
