[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photo was shot yesterday again at the back of my house.

As I was scanning through the thick bushes trying to find a nice photography subject this bee suddenly zipped past me and headed straight for these flowers.

If you notice carefully, the belly and underside of the bee has lots of white specks. Those are the pollens which the bee 'carried' to other flowers.

This is a common bee found in Malaysia and I suppose in South East Asia too.

Shot taken at normal macro mode at 1ft range with 6x optical zoom.

I like this picture and I hope you like it too.

Cheers!

Immagine interessante, è un' ape che non ho mai visto!

Yahwen Ho, I like the vertical framing & the composition on this. A tiny bit of noise has crept-in, possibly due to reduction of size from the original? I would've tried to get closer than 1 ft for this particular shot. This in consideration of the subjects size & this type of close-up presentation. Over-all a great photo!

HI Yah Wen, great shot! The eyes are excellent...The differences are sometimes blurry but this could well be a wasp or hornet rather than a bee. Anyway, very good work.
