[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Nature produces some vibrantly coloured birds, but its hard not to be dazzled by the vibrantly coloured Scarlet Ibis (Eudocimus). A native of north-eastern South America, this species feeds mainly on fiddler crabs, snails, insects and small fish. They inhabit estuaries, mangroves, shallow wetlands and flooded fields.

This one was one of a pair at the Bird Park in Kuala Lumpur, on a miserable wet cloudy day.

Not the greatest shot I've produced, but the subject is memorable.

Hello cris, excllent olors, I like the POV and framing alot, TFS kyle

Hi Chris,
This is what I call standing out against the background! No camo no...
Your featered friend looks really great, it is hard not to notice him when around!
Well framed, nice curvy line...
Greetings,
Pablo -

Hi Chris,
WOW! where do you plug him in to get that color. We only get the White Ibis here in the Southern U.S. I think this looks excellent. No where for him to hide, he would not blend in anywhere.

Hi Chris!

This image reminds me the old Kodachrome slide film where the red really emerged from the picture like here. Exposure look good and the softlight render good detail all over. There is a lot of highlight reflexion on top of the grass. A polarising filter could have help here to conserve nice saturated colors.

Nice picture and TFS.

Of course, Chris, the subject is memorable and splendid! Even in that cloudy day, the colors looks so natural! Your pov and composition are good! Nice frame and TFS,

Hello Chris,
Greetings!
This is a nice shot of the bird. Well pushed out out of the frame by its magnificent colour and well muted background. Lovely positioning and adde with perspective by the pebbles.
Congratulation for such a lot of points 11K, which is consist of great pains and hardwork. not forgetting the addiction to this wonderful hobby
Great composition, and opportunity well taken.

Regards,
Foozi
