[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A young Long-tailed Macaque (Macaca fascicularis) taken at the very impressive Batu Caves on the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur.
At these limestone caves there are several Hindu shrines and the area is very popular with tourists and Hindu devotees.
A large troop of macaques inhabits the area where they are protected. It was fascinating to watch them descend the steep limestone walls into the caves.
Long-tailed Macaque can weight up to 8kg and are found in forested areas throughout South-east Asia.

Hi Chris,
A great shot of this little fellow. Good exposure, details and colour, I really like the framing too, it works very well with him looking back into the frame like that. Great shot.
