Amazon Blue, Brazilian Snapdragon
Scientific Name : Otacanthus caeruleus
Family : Scrophulariaceae
Origin : Brazil
Growth Habits: Shrub, up to 4 feet tall (1.2 m); woody stems, slightly pubescent; opposite, sessile, lanceolate leaves, 3 inches long (7.5 cm), 1.5 inches wide (3.5 cm), mint-scented.
I took this photo last month, at Penang Hill, Penang. I am starting to fall in love with nature photography, and as i learn about photography, it also bring my closer to the nature.. opened my eyes to the beauty of motherearth.
Original photo was slightly cropped and sharpened.

Nice pic. Very good DOF making the background blurred. The upper flowers are perfectly sharp but the ones at the bottom are a little blurred, maybe you could have opened the aperture a little more so that all the petals are sharp.
Or maybe if you had focussed on the petals closer to the camera only the ones behind would have been a little out of focus, instead of the contrary.
