Hi Geof,
I like a lot this river presentation!
The light blue color of the water calls my attention, because usually I only has seen it in beaches of coral sand, but it must be the bright sun and cold there.
Very good POV and composition made.
I like the 3 elements composition: water, stones and trees.

I like shared by you picture and very nice cold (really winter) colour tones. Your POV is very impressive. The curve of the river is amazing as well as colour of the water and perfect detailed view. Next your wonderful landscape work. My compliments and best wishes.

You have caught a really nice S in the river and shown it off to a good extent. I really like the contrast in the colours between the water and the rocks here.
