[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The dragon flies would sit near each other, fly away, then meet again. This one is waiting for one to return. Fewa lake is a dark blackish color in this end, before the monsoon. The shot is taken from above the dragonfly, so the water of Fewa Lake is the background.

Very interesting composition. On the one side i want to say crop more of the black water off, but on the other side I say it is good as it is, because after reading your note I had the monsson in mind.

Thanks for posting

Nice shot Gloria, it has a very nice feel to the picture, I like the bright dragonfly, the stick next to it is a little bright, but not too bad.

Anyway, I don't know why he is sulking for a friend - there is another dragonfly (of a different species) in the frame... look down into the bottom left. There is what we would, I guess, call a skimmer/chaser (it's got a nice set of red-veined wings) Do I win a prize? :-)

Good work.

Excepto que un exceso de luz que produce sobre exposicion Gloria, la imagen es maravillosa.
Desde la perspectiva elegida, el oportunismo del disparo y un excelente encuadre.
Hay una langosta en el extremo de la rama de la izquierda?.
Gran disparo.

Unless an excess of light that produces over expose Gloria, the image is wonderful.
From the chosen perspective, the opportunism of the firing and an excellent frame.
Is there a grasshopper in the end of the branch of the left?.
Great shot.

the sharp fresh green is the real hero of this photo~~the flydragon hided himself so perfect, until after reading your note did i find it at last:)
and the Fewa lake take a blue coagulation effect ,just like a velvet ..
the texture of the grass ,the insect and the water background are all amazing!
cheers,
Xu
