Are These Parasites?

Parnassius hardwickei
Recently I posted an old photo showing the upperside of The Blue Apollo from the mountains of Nepal, and posted some more comprehensive information on the species.
Looking at other pictures of the same butterfly, I looked more closely at this one and noticed these rather unusual green "baubles" which are apparently hanging from the body of the insect. I had rather overlooked this previously as the appendages are somewhat lost in the surrounding green grassy background.
I was rather hoping that somebody would be able to confirm the nature of these, which I imagine are some kind of parasite. If so, then this character seems to be carrying a particularly heavy load. Whilst this is not the most pleasant thought, it is rather educational.

Ciao Alan,
sinceramente a me non sembrano parassiti.
Ciao,
Marcello
Hi Joe, I think that Marcello is right, also for me those green objects are vegetables, lovely butterfly with splendid colors, good details and excellent sharpness, bravo, very well done, ciao Silvio
