[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The peak is Annapurna II (7937m) taken from Upper Pisang. I tried to get both the mountain and the lake into the shot but had to sacrifice a bit of the lake.
The altitude difference here is several thousand meters between the lake and the peak.

Hi Peppe,

nice picture of Annapurna II! I'd love to see him in reality, too! It was a nice try to put both subjects into one picture - it's just a pity that there is a big green area between.
Anyway, very impressive picture of this magnificant mountain!

I think one would have to have a VERY wide angle lens to take in the mountains of Nepal! I like this shot with the reflection in the lake below. I think the exposure could be evened out a bit with some post processing enhancement. In the field a graduated neutral density filter may have helped.

Hi Johannes!
What a wonderful shot! I love the vastness, the colours and the reflection. The composition is also great, including so little unimportant sky (the usefulness of which I don't think too many people realize). Thanks for sharing!
