[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The sun is setting over the Karakoram, only the higher peaks can see the sun, still over the horizon. Its rays are turning them golden.

Yesterday post showed this place in the fullbright light of day. When the sun sets the scene gets a big different as you can see.

In this picture is no special peak. Alot of peaks in the Karakoram range are unnamed (and also unclimbed). Picture is taken at the town of Passu, in the Hunza Valley.

Looks fabulous, the sun casts a wonderful color on those peaks. Nice tight framing, fills the canvas very nicely.

i was just looking through your beautiful gallery and i saw this, which i had to comment on...it's like something out of Lord Of The Rings...the light is magic and very well handled. The shape of those peaks is unmistakably Himalayan! Great shot, you did the scene justice.

Beautiful scene, very sharp and detailed with wonderful colours. Composed very nicely, love the lighting that you've captured so well. The golden peaks add that special eye catching addition to your photo.
