It's good photo of this interesting bird.I like the look of its face and eyes - it's something mysterious in it, maybe even evil.
The sharpness is also good.
The only thing I don't like much is the composition. I think there should be some free space sideways - the bird shouldn't "fill" all photo.

Lots of details, and sharp, but highlights are blown out, perhaps toning it down by a half stop or so would have worked better. Agree that the cut off ears are a bit distracting, but still a striking image.

Another striking owl from Phillipines. Everyday I find the fauna of the Phillipines more bizarre (to me) and exciting , this is the second unusual owl I see (last one looked half owl half hawk) and then I saw you have the bulky eyed tarsisus ... fascinating !

Agree with the other critics about the cropping of the ears, but the subject is fantastic and the quality of the shot very very good. A big welcome to TN. Hope to see more photos and critiques soon.
