A Real Ant This Time
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| I'm sure this one is an ant. Shot it at double lifesize magnification then cropped for detailed texture of the skin. Pop-up fill flash used. I bent the light coming from the pop-up flash so that the lighting would come from four directions near the subject. That is, using my latest invention. With it I could avoid blurr due to camera shake and subject movement at the same time produce enough DOF on very high magnification shots. |

Hi Rey.
Thats a good photo of an ant. Really good DOF and sharpness. That is one skinny ant .
Well done, regards
Matt
Hi Rey.
Maybe the most detailed shot of an ant I have seen in TN.
Incredible natural details.
I love the mosquito larva too, where did you get it, in a aquarium?
Nice work.
