Is this a Wasp?

| It behaves like a bee but I doesn't seem to collect nectars but pollen only. I assume it is a wasp. I have a lot of shots of this insect and I hope someone can give me the right ID so I can post the other good shots. |

Hi Rey,
Hard to tell for sure. It looks like a bee in the genus Halictus..just a guess. They are much smaller than honey bees and make their colonies in the ground..Nice shot.

Sorry, I can't identify the bee. As for the shot, it's stellar. The timing is excellent, showing the bee "climbing out of" the flower tells a bit of a story. And the composition and DoF are are great for telling that story, too. The natural lighting is just right, as is the exposure and focus.
