[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Saw this in a pond in a city park, Could not really see the specie in my search and view the types of dragonfly.
Just a triva: Do you know how many eyes an adult dragonfly has? An adult dragonfly has 28,000 eyes.

Hello Luis,

Interesting subject you have there. Here are my comments of this picture.

1) Background are too harsh - probably you might metered on the subject itself. It would help you metered at the background first (take note of the readings) then switch to manual mode and adjust the settings accordingly with the flash is on. Then focus to your subject and compose, this would overcome the too bright background.
2) wings and tail were out-of-focus - maybe because of the aperture value are too wide. It would be nicer if the settings are minimun value of f11.

My cents of opinion.

Rgds,
Leo

Hello Luis,
I must say I rather like this photo, just because of its unusual strong backgrond, the composition with the red tail giving direction. An the body and front wing are sharp.
