| I saw this in a small butterfly garden at Boracay in aklan. The name of the beauty eludes me even after I search on the net. This butterfly then to stay long on leaves. |

Haloo Luis, this is also Parhtenos sylvia, which has been posted to TrekNature several times in the last weeks. For South East Asia, more than 40 subspecies of sylvia have been described. You show ssp. philippensis which is characterized by the predominantly brown coloured hind wings. Other subspecies show more luxuriant coloration.
