This is Pandan Island outside Puerto Princesa, Palawan.
We rented a boat and ventured out to it for a day. On one side of the island, the one in photo, there is a sandbank reaching out several kilometres! You could walk for ages in knee-deep water. This is my paradise.
I decided on a repost. Hope you think this one is better aswell.
Thanks to everyone who has commented on my photos!! :) |

Hi Johannes,
Indeed, this is a slice of paradise here my friend, love the shallow waters and the gradual transition from sand to sea...i can just imagine the warm waters swirling around my feet - a great sight to see on such a wet and grey day here in the UK!
Cheers

Johannes, this is such a fantastic place! Wow, I love walking along beaches, for hours. I guess I would be spoiled at this place. Good for you to travel so much, it's the best time of your life to do so. I cannot stop looking at the transparency of the water on this sand beach crossing the water. Wow. The sky is beautiful, the island is green, everything is perfect for paradise. That's what it is, isn't it? Thank you!
Francine
The island is intriguing, looks close and shallow enough to walk to.

Hi Johannes,
good shot. I like the division of the sea with the sand, itīs a good POV.
Clouds at the back seems painted! Good efect.
Good DOF with those blue mountains at the back. Good work!
tfs
have a nice day

Hi Johannes!
Yes, the island itself can be better seen on this version, and the lighting seems more balanced. I bet this dune disappears with the tide, so better be careful when and how far you go. Really does look like paradise, it would be wonderful for me too to visit a place like this... TFS
Best regards,
Andor
