This insect looks and behaves like a wheel bug but it must be a different specie because it does not have a gear in it's back. Assassin insects stun their victim by injecting a poison with the red proboscis. I found this insect waiting for it's prey on a jackfruit.

Hi Rey
I really liked the colour in red of the proboscis.
But I would like to see all the insect, it's very different.
Good DOF, POV and sharpness.

Sharp and detailed. Colors are brilliant.
As Taba, I would have like to see the whole insect, or more a crop on the head. The place it is cut here is not the best.
Still an excellent pic.
