Outstanding Mikhail Lermontov's "A Solemn White Sail in the Fog of the Blue Sea..." (my translation :)) poem was written here. You can feel the mood at once, once you are there. This place is very relaxing, it calms you down. It is located at the end of a beautiful garden of the Tzarist palace near St. Peterburg, which is called Peterhof, Russian tzar Peter the Great's creation.
It is really worth seeing and worth visiting!
Can you see the white ship?..
Runs (Francois Renaudin) was kind enough to create a workshop, correcting the line of horizon and saturating the colors; I am grateful to him. You can see the workshop attached. I like it much and consider that it benefits the picture. I really could not do these things at the time of posting! |

Beautiful landscape Irina. If you rotate this during PP you could get the horizon level and I'd be tempted to crop a little off the left of the image. Lovely POV and foreground, thank you for posting it for us :)
Hello Irina !

Wonderful landscape, Irina! The degradé of the water´s blues joining the sky is nice. The shadows and lights over those rocks are great. Very nice composition. The sea looks like tilted to the left but the wall is perfectly on right position! Tfs!
