It's a photo of Carambola leaves. This is a Carambola tree which grows in my house :)
I placed this photo here not because it might be a "masterpiece" of any kind for its artistic quality but merely for the sake of information for those who are interested in this tree (like I was some years ago) :) And besides, because I found only a few photos of Carambola on this site...
A lot of people know Carambola as a tree and have eaten its fruits. But perhaps few people know how its leaves behave after and before sunset.
At approximately 8.30 PM its leaves fold all at once, one by one, very quickly, like little palms, and some of them get tightly pressed to each other in pairs and stay pressed to each other till around 8.30 AM.
A very curious funny sight :)
