I spied this fly in the nature reserve and it had red eyes. Not only was the fly hairy but the leaf it was on was too. The lighting was natural sunlight.

I cropped the shot to effect.

What is the name of that fly?
Nice hairy experience, of black and silver variety.
The RED eye didn't turn up to be red.
