| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This green fella is a Green Creasted Lizard. A stunning species that inhabits primary and secondary forest, but can also be found in disturbed areas and parklands. The body colour is bright green, sometimes with a bluish tinge on the head. When threatened the body colour can become more brown. Males have an attractive neck crest. The tail makes up over 75 percent of its total length.
This lizard occurs throughout West Malaysia, and on the island of Borneo. In Singapore its range is in decline, possibly due to competition from the Changeable Lizard.
I photographed this little fella after I photograhed a chageable lizard. |

hi Shirley,
great pic.. really nice pose you've caught this lizard in, and the focus is spot on, really bringing out those awesome details. i agree with Paul in that you may as well use the full 800pixels as that's really not all that big.
great pic all the same though. thanks for sharing.

H Shirley;
Nice capture of the Green Creasted Lizard. Nowaday not easy to find this species, it was due to the introduction of Changeable lizards that it range is in decline, possibly due to competition.
