Ashy Tailorbird
Size: 10 cm
Description:
Note ashy grey body and red face. Male have a darker under-parts.
Voice:
A penetrating trill treee-chip.
Habits:
Often found in tidal mangroves, but in Kalimantan and Sumatra has also been recorded far inland scrub and cultivated areas and along forest edges. It occurs on Sumatra to 900 m. It is an active and restless species that hops through the low bushes, or higher in small trees, constantly chasing insects and calling loudly.
Distribution:
Common resident breeder in throughout the island. |

Great shot of this bird with good natural colors on the feathers. Nice detail as well and good composition with all the branches. Maybe a smaller f number could have been used to blur the BG but it is still a very good shot. TFS
