I spotted this fellow (A Long-tailed Macaques Monkey) on the side of the road near a nature reserve. The reserve is full of several groups of these guys. They have become quite accustomed to human presence and sometimes stay near the road in hopes that a passing car will give it a ride home :) Actually it's food they're looking for.
No doubt he was looking at me hoping for a meal but perhaps was a little too shy to ask. As it turns out it was a good photo opportunity.

Hi Mike,
Great capture, nice composition and a great pose with superb eye contact, good details and nice natural colours too. I think somebody should tell this guy that you stick your thumb up to hitchhike not your toe :o).

Hello Mike,
What a nice picture with this little one. He seems a bit lost :) I like the details you caught and this great eye contact. I wish we could have seen all the tail but it is a minor nit and I like this off centered composition. Well done and TFS,
Claudine
I'm sorry, i cannot help but laugh at what hilary said about hitchhiking with its toe! It's just hilarious!
I never thought about it that way!
Great picture.
