TN friends, this photo isn't a beautiful scene, but I hope you like it. :-)

When I took a picture of this dragonfly, he didn't care about my existence at all. Even I touched his wings, he still didn't move and kept eating small bug. Totally, ignored me. ;-(

But it was a very good chance to take very close-up shot for me. ^^
( This picture is just resized, a bit USM and NR.)

Thanks for looking at this photo and next time I'm going to post a beautiful photo I think. :-)

Hi Kevin,
Great macro shot. Great DoF, sharp, very fine details, and nice blurry BG.
Slightly different with dragonfly that we find here -we have a bigger head- but I think they are from similar species.
Excellent shot.

Interesting close-up showing great details of dragonfly gobbling up his victim. Colours and composition are great. But, when you look at these wonderful beauties too closely they're hardly beautiful any more, so I look forward to your next beautiful photo!!

Hi Kevin,
from your many excellent macros I choose this one to comment and to put on my favorite's list. It is a quite conventional subject (not the species per se though) but you did such a superb job as regards the composition, the light, DOF. Just wonderful!
My best regards
Dietrich
