Kevin, I am really sorry for not being able to keep in touch with TN for some days because my wife and I moved on to a new house and despite the fact that we applied for a DSL connection the very first day, it is yet to be installed by the company. It is nearly five days and we are still waiting. I'm at my son's place for the weekend today and writing this from there.

I love this beautiful image of a metallic beetle you shot three years ago. It is so sharp and colourful.

Hello Kevin,
a nice picture to show the colour diversity of this beele's surface. We have similar species also here in non-tropical Germany.
Excellent focus and sharpness. Depth of field appears slightly too narrow.

Another wonderful capture from you, my friend!
The colors and metallic reflections from this beetle are simply amazing here!
We also have some Chrysomelidae in Romania, but i haven't had a chance to see one with such a wide spectrum of tones in its reflection.
Very nice perspective created here, too and also very good composition.
The frontal POV is interesting and the DOF is ok...although maybe just a bit larger wouldn't have hurt :)
