Hi Kevin,
This is really a good pose for a picture!
Excellent the POV used to catch this pose.
You got so clear and razorsharp details on the insect.
Very good the DOF used to get that blurred and soft green background.
Congratulations and thanks for share with us.
My best regards,
JM

Hi Hevin,
the pose and the POV are really fine. Good details and compostion. I like the shallow too, the DF is well seen against the BG. A small nit, the head is a wee bit dark maybe a fill-in had helped but thats a minor nit.
Well done.

Hi again, Kevin

Another beautiful from you!
I really like the frontal POV here showing great details on the head of the dragonfly and also the lovely sharpe of the wings.
The colors are again terrific and the DOF is superb - blurring out the BG wonderfully.
Very good exposure and composition, too.

Bravo and TFS

Hello Kevin,
great depth of field to show a portrait and the body colours of the dragonfly concomitantly. The insect is clearly shown against the background without any distracting structures.
Best wishes, Peter

Hello Kevin,
I do look forward to the summer when these start flying again. They're a real challenge to photograph and their behaviour is so interesting. Very nice shot, I like the wings spread out and the head in sharp focus. Looks really good against the light green background.
TFS and best wishes, Ulla

Hello Kevin,
An image beyond compare!
I might sound like a parrot repeating himself, but I always feel that there is a unique quality to your dragonfly pictures. I simply adore them!
Now that I too have started getting myself acquainted with the workings of a DSLR, I am very curious to know about the exif data on each of your pictures. Maybe you don't have time to waste on such details, but it would have done a lot of good to a learner like me.

I have also this feeling that D50 is perhaps the best among all Nikon products. (I wanted to go for it but the local dealer did not have it.)
Conversely, it is also possible that I have noticed only the BEST artists like you using it :-)!
Warm regards,
Ram
