[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A close-up from a botonical garden. It was a beautiful spring day and this wasp seem to be enjoying the sun so much that it didn't mind my presence. If you look closely you can see the blue sky reflected on the back of the little bugger.

Critiques [Translate]

Hey Bennett
Great, shot. Nothing left to critique.
Regards
Matt.

Bennett,
excellent and quite unusual.
Very good shot with great reduction to the essence.
Sharp, wings incredibly well frozen in their rapid motion - that was my first impression, but no, the hoverfly is sitting, perfectly set off from a beautifully soft and very essential background. Superb indeed.
Thank you!
Best regards,
Peter

Is that really the sky reflected on the back of the little "bugger", Bennett?
Miraculous shot, if it is. More so because you seem to have captured it in mid-flight.

Hi Bennett,
Very nice macro shot! Beautiful colours and sharp details,
great composition with nicely blured background.
Well done!

Stunning macro with its sharpness and colours. The green background is bold and pleasing at the same time. However, I find the blurred flower distracting. Cropping your image on the right side and a bit on the left may make it less so, but not by much. This is only my opinion for what it is worth. Smile.

I am curious to know what lens and what setting you used.
