A Butterfly
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
I could not identify this butterfly correctly since it keeps it's wings closed everytime it settles for rest. Even when it flies it's so quick and I could not see markings on it's wings clearly.
It's sorry to say now the butterfly season has gone and I have to wait till next year to catch them and identify.....;-( |

It's a Pieridae, that I'm shure.
But the specie could be a Pieris brassicae or other Pieris sp.
Great shot!
Nice shot Jagath, good macro, I like the details, sharpness and DOF. Good work! Thanks for sharing.
You have a good shot, but a difficult subject. The butterfly blends in so well with the leaf it is difficult to show off the detail. I would suggest for this shot maybe reducing the brightness on the leaves, increasing the highlights and using the hand tool to blur the leaves to soften them. This will then make the butterfly the center piece.
