[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This picture was taken in an island of Phi Phi, where monkey goes until the seaside to search for food.

The Phi Phi Islands are located in Thailand, between the large island of Phuket and the western Andaman Sea coast of the mainland. Phi Phi Don, the larger and principal of the two Phi Phi islands, is located at 7°44′00″N, 98°46′00″E. Both Phi Phi Don, and Phi Phi Leh, the smaller, are administratively part of Krabi province, most of which is on the mainland, and is located at 8°02′30″N, 98°48′39″E.

Hallo Franco
I have not been active lately and missed some lovely photographs from members. I'll have to go back to the gallery some time and observe all the ones I have overlooked. This image of the monkey has a cuteness factor and therefore attracts the eye. It looks as if it is walking a bit skew, and it seems as if it want to fall over. Maybe it ate to much marulla berries, and now struggle to move normal. – Ha-Ha just a joke. When I saw this monkey it reminded me of the film "Beautiful people" where the baboons ate to much marulla berries and became drunk.

I like the shadows displayed in the image. Although one cannot see the trees, the shadow forms a lovely shape, and you have captured it well as part of the image. Thanks for sharing and enjoy your day.
Kind regards
Anna

Hello Franco,

Excellent shot of this monkey which seems to go to the water to wash the nut it has in its hand. Great sharpness. Wonderful light and colours. I like the shadow of the leaves on the sand.
Cheers,
Mariki

Hi Franco,
Well I'm totally jealous Phi Phi Island one of my favorite places in the world, spent many happy hours their on several occasions, haven’t been back since the tsunami a couple of years ago, this is a wonderful shot, lovely detail and well captured, I can almost understand the anxious stance of the monkey at the waters edge, really nice work, all the best Cheers Rick :)

Hi Franco, Lovely monkey:) Your capture is excelent! TFS. Regards,
Bahadır

Posa molto plastica per un soggetto simpaticissimo. Sembra un centometrista ai blocchi di partenza. La sabbia immacolata rende in tutto più luminoso,

Roberto

A fine looking fellow cautiously approaching the sea Franco, only a few years ago this place was devastated by a tsunami, they must have short memories indeed!

bella l'immagine , ma anche molto carina e piacevole . sembra un po ubriaca o le faceva male una zampina?
