a very nice picture of this darter.
The exposure are very good and the sharpness too but I think the DOF is a bit odd, F16 with a 90mm macro lens should even the feet had been in focus.
Lovely colours and a nice POV.

I'm jelauos, that you'll see insects in april :-) In our region we'll probably wait little longer. Great supermacro of dragon's eyes. Razor sharp details and very well taken natural colours. I like diagonal POV also. Excellent photo in short.

I like this species of dragonfly very much but have never noticed that they ave 'stripy' eyes! Excellent view of this one showing fine details and beautiful golden colours. Very nicely composed too!

Hi Sabine

Another wonderful dragonfly shot from you and again a terrific macro!
Now that i have my own true macro lens, i hope that i will also be able to create such excellent close-ups on this beautiful creatures, so that i, too, would be able to analyze such amazing geometry in their eyes :)
Very good POV and DOF chosen here, great fill-in flash work and lovely colors everywhere.
Good luck finding more macro subjects in Thailand, but i also hope you'll find time to join us on the nice TN meeting we are trying to set up :)

Liebe Sabine,
Interessante und originelle Gestaltung Deines Bildes. Schöne Augen hat sie ja, Deine thailändische Libelle. Mir gefällt auch speziell die Transparenz der Flügel; interessant auch die verschiedenen geometrischen Formen auf den Flügeln.
Ich wünsche noch eine schöne Reise morgen. Meine Reise nach München werde ich wahrscheinlich verschieben müssen, habe noch einige Probleme mit Schwindelanfällen.

I like dragonflies. They are large and somewhat easy to capture. But you've taken it up a couple of levels, Sabine. I like the XCU of the mid-section here, recorded on a nice diagonal with great details in the eys, mid-section, and wings even. Well done again, Sabine.
