Rounding the bend, the second biggest hippo is in the lead....... Hot on his trail are the rest. well, just as in camel racing, one appears to be going the wrong way. Not really a hippo race, but hippos wallowing in rather dodgy (as the English say), looking water. It is the Chang Mai zoo and not as thrilling as being in the Nile, or Congo, but I guess it will have to do for me. They have no predators, and plenty of food, but do they enjoy this life? How would I see them otherwise???? The endless question of zoos!
