Common Sailor
Neptis hylas.
A Nymphalid. There are a number of Neptis species.
This is a very common butterfly in Tropics.
This specimen found in Cuc Phuong national Park in Vietnam.
Has a floating type of flights...it sails. |

Hello Mike,
Fine capture of a fresh specimen of a Common Sailor. Once again this shot, though well exposed, suffers a little from light deficiency: a hand held camera using a low shutter speed. Despite that it is fairly sharp and the composition and BG are fine.
