It is always amazing to see a river which slices through a mountain. Maybe the mountain range has risen slowly and the river manages to cut through. We are looking at a lot of time to do this. In the mountainous area south west of Danang.

Hi Murray,
great to see this aerial view of such a magnificant looking landscape. Interesting to see this rivers journey through the area and it's impact on the rocks and mountains. You can clearly see the areas of deposition on the meanders and there looks like there's alot of jungle to explore too. Nice composition with this waterway's journey filling the whole image.

Thanks for sharing,hope you're well.

Hi Murray,
You made a pretty good composition with this river!
I like the way you managed to get this picture, is no t always easy to shot through an plane window.
It's very interesting to follow the path of the flow and discover all the things along it.
Congratulations and thanks for share it.
My best regards,
JM

Hi Murray,

A nice image of the river and of the mountains, the photo has a good composition, DOF and nice colors. Thanks for sharing.

Pierre

Interesting shot. I like it, nicely composed and an interesting subject. It looks like a plane window, though, which always begs for some color corrrection. I've taken a shot at it in a WS.

Hello Murray,
Great lines in the winding river!
It is interesting to see how valleys apparently cross the river...
Interesting documentary well framed, maybe a tad more contrast!
Greetings,

Hello Murray,

Very nice this aerial photo, exactly a satelite image.
Indeed the river twist through the mountain landscape as a snake through the desert.
Very well done.

Best regards,
John.

I like shots like this, you are looking at how the river is cutting through the mountains. I like how you can see the flow with the build up of sediment. It is cutting into the river walls on the outside of the curves but then where the water is slower it is depositing silt, very slowly changing the course of the river. I like those mountains too, it almost looks like a scale model here. Very cool.

Superb PoV, excellent composition
The colours are affected by the aircraft window and the atmosphere so maybe a small workshop is in order (?)
I hope you won't mind if I try
