My Sweet, Sweet Heart :)
Hi TN Friends! This is my first post here, as inspired by Steve (LordPotty) in TL.

Resembling banana blossoms, in miniature version, with lots of nectar-loving ants, this flower is almost 1/8 the size of the normal banana blossoms. I went under the bushes and big leafed-plants to see this beauty. If anyone knows what plant bears this flower, please kindly tell me. Thanks! :)

Composition:
POV: wild area in the Orchidarium of Manila
Model: Canon PowerShot A640
Exposure Time: 1/60
F-Stop: f/3.5
Focal Length: 7300/1000 mm
Metering Mode: Pattern

Pp work:
Software: Adobe Photoshop CS3
1. saturate
2. sharpen

Quote of the Day:

Welcome to TN, Fred.
Your very first post is fresh and eye-catching. This lovely flower has been well captured, especially the bunch of ants on it.
Keep shooting and all the best to you.

Hi Freddie :)
I missed this one before.
Its a great capture, although I can't help with the ID either yet.
I would have thought it was a banana but for the note.I'll do some research and see what I can come up with.
Cheers,
Steve

I like your POV and the colours. But what are you trying to project here? If banana blossom is your main subject then I feel the cropping is a little bit tight. Anyway thanks for sharing. Everyday we keep learning something new. Best wishes.
