The lotus flowers grow everywhere in ponds in Indochina. This one (and many others) I found in Hue, the old Emperor City of Vietnam.

Monica, you should be thriloled with this image - what a beautiful flower - I didn't think it was a lotus - more of a waterlily. But it has such lovely shaped petals and colours - great shot!
