Hi all,
Yesterday, its was raining and I noticed these birds had a nest next to my house and were very busy feeding (Here u can see it with a baby garden lizard) so took some test shots. IF time permits i will try to get much better shots in days to come :-)

This is Jungle Babbler, Turdoides striata, which is an Old World babbler. The Old World babblers are a large family of Old World passerine birds characterised by soft fluffy plumage. These are birds of tropical areas, with the greatest variety in southeast Asia.
These birds are grey brown below, with some mottling on the throat and breast. The upperparts are a slightly darker shade. The head is grey, and the bill is yellow. The race T. s. somervillei of Maharastra has an orange tail and dark primary flight feathers.
The Jungle Babbler lives in flocks of seven to ten or more. It is a noisy bird, and the presence of a flock may generally be known at some distance by the harsh mewing calls, continual chattering, squeaking and chirping produced by its members. It feeds mainly on insects, but also eats nectar and berries.

Hello Goutham,
Beautiful photo of this Babbler with prey. Very good timing. Nice natural colours and sharpness. Excellent composition.
Kind Regards,
Peter

This Jungle Babbler has the features of a ferocious predator, Goutham. This is very good snap shot of the bird with a lizard in its beak. Apparently, the bird must have paused there only for a brief moment.
I am a bit confused about your 'test' shot. Were you testing some equipment?
Thanks and regards.
