[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Taken in Komodo national park on the island of Rinca.
We had to rise early to arrive early morning in order to see the Komodos active, as they are at there most active in early morning. Once it heats up they tend to rest in the shade, not surprisingly as temperatures were near 35C when we visited

Hello Angela,
I heard so much about these creatures, they must be very fascinating!
Fine picture shown in a pleasing composition.I like the vivid attitude of the Komodo and the fact that we can see the environment in which it lives.
