| He/She was not showing full beauty of wings by closing them vertically up. After taking some shots a blow some air & in his balancing act it I got some shots with full wing open. |

nice image, but unfortunately this is not Monarch. Monarch is not seen in India, however it's cousin species occur. This one is in fact a mimic of the Plain Tiger. It is a female of Danaid Eggfly.
