Hi Guys
Thought this might peak your curiosity. Don't look at the top of your screen. What do you think this image could be? Mountains & river or maybe glacier? Snow bank beside creek? Nope and Nope.
This picture is actually of sand bores. I took this shot as were were flying into the Bahamas, more precisely the Exumas. The water is so clear in the Exumas it's hard to believe that everything you see in this picture is below water. Sand Bores are moving sand banks that lie under the water surface. They are hard to chart since they are in constant motion, and in areas of great current and water movement, they are particularly difficult to judge. They can ruin your day if you are running at speed and fail to see or correctly judge the depth of a sand bore.
Actually, I'm sure you all guessed this image correctly, but it was fun for me to do something different after a long day. Sorry about the poor quality. Still have a GREAT deal to learn.
Thanks for all your support... Kathy

I must go down to the seas again, for the call of the running tide
Is a wild call and a clear call that may not be denied;
All I ask is a windy day with the white clouds flying,
And the flung spray and the blown spume, and the seagulls crying. By John Masefield |

Bonjour Cathy,
J'ai compris de quoi ils s'agissait en lisant la note mais le côté graphique d l'image avait retenu mon attention. Cette symphonie en bleu est bien mise en page. Merci
Gérard

Wow, it looks wonderful. Great shot with fantastic POV. Those crystal clear waters shout to me to dive in.
well done
Bev
A very unusual post. I've seen similar photos so I knew more or less what it was, although I wouldn't have said it was all below water! Very interesting, thanks for posting!
Well that certainly is different, Kathy and very interesting. I guessed what it was but I've never seen anything like it. The color of the water is amazing.
Thanks for sharing
