Good Evening All

Don't you think this looks like Woody Wood Pecker or was it the Road Runner??? :-)

I shot this bloom in the Bahamas. I have not idea what it might be. It was on a large tree which had no leaves and no other flowers, just this one spot of color. Wish the branches were not in the BG. IF anyone knows what this might be, I would interested in hearing from you.

Leaving in the AM to take a boat to the Chesepeake Bay. Hope I am able to find wireless along the way. I'll miss seeing yor pictures. But maybe can come up with some good shots.

Hi Kathy,
What an intersting flower. I've never seen anthing like it before. It looks like some kind of blossom. Did you see any seeds of fruits near the tree? Anyway, great colors and good control on the exposure.

A very curious flower and really nice shot. I like the image with the so many filaments and anthers. A lovely contrast with the blue background.

Yes, I see a face! Good find Kathy. You mentioned the Pohutukawa tree I posted; well the flowers are similar to this one, but red, not pink, and without the nose and eyes!
