| This is a beautiful perfect specimen we picked up in about 15 feet of water 200 feet offshore of western New Providence (Nassau). We were assembling a field of different size starfish to photograph and study their dispersal movements when we spotted this Strombus Raninus. When I was a child many people lined their gardens with these conchs. We put this gentle creature back where he belongs! |

very nice having the whole strombus would have really enhanced the image. Great when people take only photos
