[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Black Vulture (Coragyps atratus) is a common new-world vulture through most of South America, central America and south-eastern USA. They feed like most vultures on carrion and have a wingspan of 1.5 metres (5 ft).
We found this one with a large group of vultures resting near a poultry farm near Spanish Lookout.

Hi Chris,
You captured this bird in a beautiful pose and composition. Exposure and colors are very natural! We do have Turkey Vultures here but not those one. Well seen! Cheers,
Claudine

Hi Chris,
Great BG and POV, a classic pose.
Very good exposure, color, and composition.
Well done & TFS,
Howard

Hello Chris,
Beautiful clean shot against a very well managed background. I like details and clarity of this bird in that beautiful perching position.
Regards,
Jusni

Hello Chris,
Nice capture with fine pose and POV of this ugly bird. The composition of this Black Vulture against the OOF green natural BG makes him stand out.
Thanks for sharing this one,
Ivan

Hi Chirs.
Nice photo of this "Zopilote" We have a lot of them flying to find food or carrion. It is against the law to kill one of them here in Mexico. I have one here in TN but this an Aura, very similar to the one you have here Chris.
Saludos Luis52.

Hi Chris,
you have captured this in a very nice way with fine pretty good sharpness and fine detail.
I like the compostion and the POV too but maybe you could add a bit more contrast. And I think you have add a bit to much NI in the BG or am I wrong?
Well done, my friend.

hi Chris,
Nice catch of the black vulture, beautiful colors and well composed and lovely details and sharp picture very well done.

Hi Chris,

Well this vulture seems very mean and you've captured it with good details and I like that you've kept it a bit on the right, Nice blurry background also. Well done!
