This bird indeed has some lovely and very prominent features. Just love the royal blue patch on the forehead and the white patch of feathers on the chest. The pencil lead beak and the big round eye is a sure attraction. I also like the swanky crest. A posh bird, captured in fine style and great clarity. Thanks for sharing. Best regards.

I've never seen a Hummingbird, Chris...apart from the ones on TV or here on TN.Rarely does one get to see this bird shot sitting or perched, as we say!
I saw Jane's shot of a perched Hummingbird, it was my first, and this is the second shot..
A lovely shot, I love the colours and the DOF you've achieved!
