[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This astonishing praying mantis was resting waiting for something to eat at the top of the leaf.

As you can see it wasnt really happy to see the camera lens, instead of paying attention to me, it decided to keep resting and got in focus with its lunch.

Have fun with pictures...

Hi Michael
Very interesting mantis
very nice DOF
to me it is almost too close, a bit more space without cutting the antennas could even be better
But great picture anyway
TOM

Hi Michael,
Excellent close-up! And impressive! Marta

Hello Michael!
This is really unique shape of body in mantid species. I like POV and close-up.

An amazing mantis... and an even more amazing POV, Michael.
I have never seen anything like that.
There have been a few posts of praying mantises recently, and each of them has had a more incredible shape.
Great macro capture.
TFS. : )

Hello Michael,

Wow! What an impressive picture of a not least impressive insect! In fact it is the first time I see such a mantis! I'm just wandering if a vertical compo would have been bette by showing us more pixels of the insect! Nice natural colors...

Bye and TFS,

Michel

Preciosa y con un original corte. Un saludo Michael.
