Hi Richard, what a nice shot, the bird seems to come out from behind a curtain, like getting on stage. I like the pattern of the leaves with the bird opening it and the background that is out of focus. TFS!

Wonderful photo - two elements make this work - the composition (the almost abstract patterns of the foliage) and the timing of the bird peering through and down. If only that little leaf sticking down from the top left hadn't been there - but some things are out of photographers' control!! Lovely work. TFS, Doug

This is lovely Richard. I really like all the shades of green including your little bird. The complementary red angled line makes for a dramatic and effective composition. The leaf patterns are wonderful and as is the out of focus background peaking through.
